The feud between Madonna and her disgruntled fans is over. The singer will not have to pay fines for being late for concerts and shows.
PEOPLE writes that plaintiffs Michael Fellows and Jason Alvarez were sent a notice to terminate the proceedings, according to court documents. It was not reported how the problem was resolved.
Madonna fans filed a class-action lawsuit, claiming that the singer delayed the performance, created uncomfortable conditions in the hall and gave overly revealing performances. After some time, the plaintiffs stated that the parties allegedly reached a settlement, but Madonna’s lawyers protested and declared that there was no settlement, as they saw the case itself as a simple extortion and an attempt to profit from the celebrity’s name.
