He was vacationing in the Hamptons with his artist friends. While drunk, he left the bar and got behind the wheel of a car. Timberlake ignored a stop sign, changed lanes incorrectly and tried to evade police. When Timberlake was finally taken into custody, he “failed” a sobriety test. The artist refused to be examined with a breathalyzer.
A Page Six source reports that Justin has been struggling with alcohol addiction for several years. The incident occurred when it malfunctioned for the first time in a long time. But perhaps most disturbing is that law enforcement officers do not even realize who they are arresting in the first place.
“The police officer was young and didn’t know him. “This is going to ruin the tour,” Justin said quietly. The policeman replied: “What tour?” Justin said: The publication quotes eyewitnesses as saying: “World tour.”
At this point Timberlake has already left the police station. He was released without bail. The hearing regarding the incident will be held on July 26.
