Important events took place in the theatrical life of the capital. We are talking about the management of three theaters in Moscow.
So, 60-year-old theater and film actor, theater and cinema director, screenwriter, filmmaker and public figure Vladimir Mashkov headed the Sovremennik Theater. Interfax reports this.

It was also learned that the Satire Theater will now be directed by actor and director Evgeny Gerasimov. The Roman Viktyuk Theater will be headed by actor and director Konstantin Bogomolov.
At the same time, all three will retain their current positions: Vladimir Mashkov – Oleg Tabakov at the Moscow Theatre, Evgeny Gerasimov – at the Malaya Ordynka Theater and Konstantin Bogomolov – at the Malaya Bronnaya Theatre.
Additionally, the stage of the former Vsevolod Meyerhold Center on Novoslobodskaya will be connected to the Moscow Jewish Theater “Shalom”. The Moscow Puppet Theater will be merged with the Moscow Open Puppet Theater, which comes under the control of the capital at the beginning of 2024.
