At the end of May, the parents of two-year-old Lesha from the city of Tsiolkovsky, Amur Region, announced an urgent fundraiser for the treatment of their son suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. Concerned citizens and entrepreneurs sent money to help the boy. Russian stars were also not indifferent to the situation in the family: Nikita Kologrivy, Keti Topuria, blogger Lerchek (Valeria Chekalina – Note ed.) and others.

The child is currently in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Moscow. The child’s lungs are supported by an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation device that saturates the blood with oxygen. Due to the severe diagnosis, Lesha needs a vital organ transplant. As it turned out, Russian doctors were unable to help the little patient.
An Indian clinic volunteered to perform the surgery on the boy. But 52 million rubles turned out to be unaffordable for the child’s relatives. But the world is not without good people. According to Amurskaya Pravda, all the money was transferred to the family’s account within two weeks.
