Good news for fans of the science fiction genre. A sequel to the “Black Mirror” series is expected. The project’s executive producer, Charlie Brooker, promised that the series will have many more seasons.

“I’ve been here a long time and I’m not going anywhere,” The Hollywood Reporter quoted the showrunner as saying. It is currently in its seventh season. The sequel to Star Trek’s Season 1 parody episode “USS Callister” is almost finished.
According to Brooker, the production team said that work on some episodes was at the point of completion, while another season was being shot and another season was being prepared. “They’re all different, they all have different actors and directors,” the producer said. Charlie admitted that he really enjoyed the process of creating the show, especially the editing and working with great people.
The seventh season of Black Mirror will be released on Netflix in 2025. The sixth season returned to screens in early 2023 after a four-year break and garnered a record number of viewers on the broadcast. The series entered the top 10 in 92 countries.
