Summer needs to start right! On the first weekend, traditional women’s and children’s races will be held in Gelendzhik as part of the IRONSTAR Gelendzhik 2024 festival.
According to this year’s tradition, professional athletes from the Elite division will start first and inspire other participants to achieve sporting achievements. So girls over 14 years old will run 5 km on the main embankment of the city.
Young runners aged 0-6 years will cover a distance of 500 m, older athletes – aged 7-12 years – 1000 m. The smallest athletes will be able to “run” this distance in their parents’ arms or in a stroller. .
