5 unexpected facts about “My Fair Nanny”: Zavorotnyuk was not taken to the series because of her talent

After the release of My Fair Nanny in 2004, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk was recognized on every corner. Only now the creators of the show thought about inviting a young actress to play the role of nanny Vicki.

Initially, Natasha Koroleva was going to play the future wife of Maxim Shatalin. The showrunners saw the Ukrainian singer in this role for several reasons: she would not have to “put on” the desired accent, and the popular artist would also attract the attention of her fans to the project. It did not work.

The same can be said about Zhanna Arkadyevna, the character of Olga Prokofieva, whom Lyubov Polishchuk was eager to get. The famous actress found the “toad” colorful and interesting, and the producers had to convince the star for a long time to play the nanny’s mother Vicky, with whom they were very similar.

By the way, Prokofiev himself brought the legendary “screeching” laugh of Zhanna Arkadyevna to the role, after accidentally hearing one of her friends laugh.

By sheer coincidence, Philip Kirkorov, whom the producers did not even think about calling for a cameo role in the sixth season, also ended up in the project. But the king of pop loved the series so much that he asked to be filmed.

Finally, Zavorotnyuk herself managed to “stay ahead” of her competitors in the person of Nonna Grishaeva, Zhanna Friske, Anastasia Stotskaya and many other artists, mainly due to her appearance.
