It seems that the future is very near. True, perhaps not everyone will like this idea. BrainBridge, the biotechnology startup of biologist, blogger and screenwriter Hashem Al-Ghaili, has presented the concept of a device that could be used to transplant a human head into a donor’s body.

The startup’s website states that the device will help people suffering from diseases such as cancer, stroke, and Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
The idea is that advanced multi-armed robots controlled by artificial intelligence will separate the head with the brain from the body, transplant it to the donor’s body and connect it to nerves, spine and blood vessels.
The startup is also venturing into cosmetic surgery, such as face and scalp transplants, with minimal risk of rejection, according to New Atlas.
Al-Ghaili first hinted at BrainBridge on his social media last year. He then wrote that he would attract the most talented specialists. According to the biologist at the time, he had eight years before the first surgery.
