Through the curtain. The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which started on May 17, closed in style this Saturday as expected. With the coronation of Triangle of sadnessa 2022 internationally co-produced satirical film written and directed by Ruben Östlund (who won his second prize) and starring Harris Dickinson, and a star-studded red carpet concluded 11 days of film but also style.
As is the case with every edition, the closing gala was a full-fledged stylistic spectacle. The Fairmined-certified 18-karat gold Palme is not placed on the traditional rock crystal cushion, but on a rose quartz base, a stone that symbolizes Chopard’s love affair with cinema.
