Fruit is not good at the moment, it is low season. While waiting for the official return of strawberries, cherries, raspberries and peaches, we can enjoy this delicious lemon mousse!
The simple recipe for light lemon mousse
To make this recipe you will need:
- 2 untreated yellow lemons
- 250 g of mascarpone
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of granulated sugar
- 1 file for decoration
Do you have everything you need? Come on let’s go. In a salad bowl, mix together the mascarpone, egg yolks and sugar. Squeeze the juice from the two lemons and add it to the mixture.
In another salad bowl, whip the 3 egg whites with an electric whisk (or with the strength of your arms, it’s up to you). Once they are firm, add them to your first mixture carefully, not like a nag.
Hop, put everything in small cups and let it rest in the fridge for at least 3 hours. And here it is! Don’t hesitate, before eating them, to add lime zest on top of the mousse. It will have a small effect!
