Actor Dev Patel, known to the audience with the films “Slumdog Millionaire” and “The Legend of the Green Knight”, will star in a new movie about the “Jurassic World” universe. World of Reel reports this, citing Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman.
Gareth Edwards, known for his works in “Rogue One”, “Creator” and “Monsters”, will direct the film. Meanwhile, the star cast of the project is absolutely guaranteed, as Scarlett Johansson, whose participation was announced in March, will also join the project along with Patel.
Steven Spielberg will serve as producer. It was previously reported that David Koepp, who worked on the original film, would write the script of the film. Meanwhile, the last third part of the new trilogy called “Jurassic World: Domination” was published in 2022.
