Finally a magazine for families of disabled children. This Sunday, April 14, the magazine will launch All children are good kidslaunched by Paolina Manginmother of two children, as reported by the magazine SHE.
A media with content that is lifestyle and engaging
This online media is therefore the first dedicated to families of children with disabilities aged 0 to 12. “ When my daughter’s father and I fell into the world of disability, we felt completely abandoned by society and disarmed. I couldn’t identify myself. », Pauline Mangin states to our colleagues.
She therefore decided to create this media herself, which she would like to read when she became the mother of a child affected by 2q37 deletion syndrome, a form of rare chromosomal deletion that causes various cognitive disabilities.
“My son wasn’t represented anywhere, I had trouble imagining what our life would be like. I had the impression that we would no longer be able to live, leave, travel, he confides again. This underrepresentation and lack of resources made me angry. »

Lack of information, of representation… Pauline Mangin therefore decided to “transform her anger into something positive”. This former journalist, who benefits from experience in media and technology, has surrounded herself with a team of professionals (journalist, podcaster and author Laetitia Reboulleauas well as the illustrator Aurelien Jeanneyhimself suffering from a hearing disability), to create a “ safe place “.
The media will therefore consist of selections and inspirations for fashion, beauty, decoration, accessible travel, but will also have a committed editorial line with articles and social investigations, such as: “ How to explain consent to your disabled child? Survey on inclusive schools, interviews with those directly involved…” the magazine reports again SHE.
Furthermore, to support the project, a fundraising campaign will be launched at the same time as the site, to help finance the creation and maintenance of the site, and pay for the production of content.
