In January, Keanu Reeves scared fans with his appearance on crutches. Until now, nothing was known about how the celebrity was injured. Actor Azis Ansari broke the silence.
While working together on the movie Luck, Keanu went to an acting trailer and injured his knee. “I don’t know, about 15 days after he started shooting with me, I said, ‘Hey, sit in your dressing room for 15 minutes.’ And he tripped on the carpet. He said, ‘Ahh! My knee,'” Ansari was quoted as saying in PEOPLE’s emotional story.
Ansari noted that Keanu Reeves, who starred in action-packed films and performed his own stunts, has never been in a hospital bed throughout his entire film career. Azis said Reeves tried to do everything without a backup, even after the injury.
