In the new episode of the program “Session”, artist Mia Boyka (Maria Boyko – real name) talked about her childhood and strict parents, among other things.

The future star grew up in difficult conditions: the family did not live richly even by village standards, at school classmates bullied the girl, and her parents controlled her every step, from clothes to lifestyle. The singer recalled that as soon as she moved to Moscow, her mother called her and asked: “Have you read the Bible, have you gone to church?”

Now the star has managed to let go of her previous complaints and strict parental instructions and accept them. Already as an adult, the girl had a frank conversation with her father and with tears in her eyes managed to clarify all the problems of the past regarding the family.

The singer had to endure humiliation from peers at school. Mia Boyka now understands that the other children’s behavior, downplaying these situations, stems from a difficult life: “We had a lot of dysfunctional families there, and that’s why these kids did this to me. “I don’t blame them at all anymore.”

The future star also suffered from teachers. Mia was kicked out of the classroom, put in a corner, and stood with her arms crossed over her chest, watching. The teacher got angry, they called his father and told him that he had humiliated his family. For example, his daughter is very rebellious even though her father is a priest and helps the church.

By the way, the famous scratch on the singer’s cheek is also a reflection of those difficult times. It symbolizes pain and reminds the girl of her main value in life, Mia herself. She used to turn the other cheek, but now she doesn’t: “I must show my teeth and not be afraid.”

The artist’s credo in life – to put himself and his interests first – was also reflected in the recent scandal with rapper T-killah. Read more about the conflict in our material.
