Production has wrapped on the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’S The monkey, and the film’s cast was just announced. That cast includes Teo Giacomo (The White Lotus), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Lawyer), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Christian Convery (Sweetness), Colin O’Brien (Wonka), Rohan Campbell (The Hardy Boys) AND Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek).
In The monkey, “When twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old toy monkey in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths begin to occur around them. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years. But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must band together to find a way to finally destroy the ape before it takes the lives of everyone close to them.
Theo James plays the twins in the film in later years, and Convery plays the younger version of the twins. James Wan is producing the film and the supernatural story was directed by Osgood Perkins (Long legs).
This is another one of those fun horror stories from King, and with a cast as great as this, the film is sure to be a fun film.
