Netflix announces the cast of the film FEAR STREET: PROM QUEEN

Netflix has announced the cast members of the next installment of the series Street of fear titled franchise Fear Street: The Prom Queen. The film will be an adaptation of the R. L. Stine book, The prom queen.

The cast includes India Fowler (The Nevers, Insomnia), Susanna Son (Red Rocket, The Idol), Fina Strazza (Paper girls, above the shadows), Davide Iacono (The summer I got cute, Cinnamon), Ella Rubin (The idea of ​​you), Chris Klein (Sweet Magnolias, American Cake) with Lily Taylor (Out of range, manhunt) AND Catherine Waterston (The end where we begin, Perry Mason).

In the film: “Prom season at Shadyside High has begun, and the school’s pack of It girls are busy with their usual sweet and fierce campaigns for the crown. But when a brave outsider is unexpectedly appointed to the court and other girls mysteriously begin to disappear, the class of ’88 suddenly finds itself facing a night of prom from hell.”

This will be the fourth Fear Street film adapted from the book series. The first three films were a trilogy consisting of Fear Street, part one: 1994, Fear Street, part two: 1978AND Fear Street, Part Three: 1666. They were all fun horror movies and were directed by Leigh Janiak.

The three films were based on Stine’s novels set in the town of Shadyside. The original series lasted 51 novels. The three films were released over the course of three weeks and tell a killer story about the sinister history of the town of Shadyside.

Yvonne Bernard, Joan Waricha and Jane Stine will serve as executive producers alongside Caroline Pitofsky, who will oversee production for Chernin Entertainment. Producers include Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kori Adelson for Chernin Entertainment.
