Oscar Street closures set for red carpets, television broadcasts and more: here are the maps

Updated at 8:30: Again, it’s the time of year when Hollywood residents, tourists and businesses need to prepare for delays. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the City of Los Angeles announced the closure of streets and sidewalks on March 27 at the 94th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater.

Here is the Sunday closing map:

All lanes on Hollywood Boulevard will be closed from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue Wednesday March 30th until 6pm Other closures will take effect March 20-27.

The MTA changes buses and subways to cross Hollywood Ovation Station for the first scheduled train, Monday, March 28, after 6pm.

As usual, the Oscars will be held in Hollywood and Highland, at the Dolby Theater, this year more relaxed with Covid protocols. The ceremony will be hosted by Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sikes, with most of the presenters announced. Will Packer is the first Oscar-winning producer.
