Moscow Basmanny Court opted for preventive measure for those accused of terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall

Suspects of carrying out a large-scale terrorist attack on the Crocus Expo shopping center on March 24 were brought to the Moscow Basmanny District Court. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The court considered the case of four defendants: Mirzoev Dalerjon Barotovich, Rachabalizod Saidakrami Murodali, Muhammadsobir Zokirchonovich Fayzov and Shamsidin Fariduni. The article for each of the four suspects is “Terrorism resulting in the death of a person” (part 3 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article of the Criminal Code provides for life imprisonment.

The court detained the first person involved in the case, Dalerjon Mirzoev, until May 22. He fully admitted his guilt.

After the first defendant, the court decided to arrest the second defendant, Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalisoda, until May 22. He also admitted his guilt.

The third defendant in the terrorist attack case, Feriduni Şemsidin, was also detained until May 22.

The fourth defendant, Muhammedsobir Fayzov, will remain in custody until May 22.

Let us remind you that March 24 was declared a national day of mourning in Russia for those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall near Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this in his speech to citizens yesterday. Additionally, authorities in Nicaragua, Abkhazia and Republika Srpska declared national mourning as a sign of solidarity with Russia.
