We are perhaps a week away from one of the most important awards of the Russian film industry. Of course, we are talking about the XI APKiT Award (Association of Film and Television Producers). Note ed.). The awards ceremony will take place on March 26, but in the meantime we’ll tell you who will be competing for the awards.
The award will be given to the best films and TV series of the past year in 25 categories, as well as individual categories. Special awards will also be given at the ceremony.
The shortlist for the XI APKiT Prize included 34 projects. For example, comedy series “The Magic Lot” and drama series “Ballet” are vying for victory in nine categories. The fantasy detective story “The Librarian” is presented in six categories, and the drama “Actresses” is presented in three categories. It consists of two categories: detective drama “Bison: The Case of the Fashion Model” and comedy science fiction “Cyber Village”.
Alla Sigalova, Evgenia Dmitrieva, Marietta Tsigal-Polishchuk and Anna Peresild will compete for the title of best actress in the series.
In the “Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series” category, there are Andrei Merzlikin, Sergei Burunov and Nikita Kologrivy.
The best supporting actresses of the series may be Irina Apeksimova (“Ballet”) and Yulia Alexandrova (“Kesha Must Die”).
We should also note that the presenters of the ceremony will be Milos Bikovich, Elizaveta Bazykina, Anna Snatkina and Viktor Vasiliev.
