The haunted house that inspired horror series ‘The Conjuring’ sells in the US

The haunted house that inspired the horror series The Conjuring has been sold in the US. Paranormal residences went to $1.5 million (that’s almost 1 billion rubles), and 27% more expensive than planned. Built in the 19th century, the house is located in the state of Rhode Island.

Meanwhile, current dealers Jenn and Corey Heinzen, who are paranormal investigators, managed to make good money off the deal: They bought the house for $439,000 in 2019. According to them, they spent four months in the same room “as a sign of respect for spirits.” However, this did not save them from a certain “black figure” who soon left.

What is known about the new owner? Jacqueline Nunez, 58, the new owner of the house, says she’s not afraid of ghosts, but adds: “Ask me about that in a year.” It sounds interesting and scary.

Recall that in the first part of the movie an American family moves into a haunted mansion. Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren come to the heroes’ aid. They have to deal with the evil spirit of the witch Batsheba Sherman, who lives in a 19th century mansion. Meanwhile, the “real” haunted house never made it to the screen.
