The figure skater admitted that she did not knowingly take any banned substances. “For myself, I can say that I did not do doping consciously. We are still taking RUSADA lessons, I tried to follow the rules as much as possible. “I was going to the Olympic Games and thought to myself that this is a great sports holiday, this is the place where you have studied for so long, where you have dreamed for so long,” the girl admitted.
Let us remind you that a scandal involving Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva at the 2022 Olympics was revealed when doping test results revealed the banned trimetazidine. On January 29, the Arbitration Court (CAS) ruled on his disqualification for four years, effective from December 25, 2021. The figure skater was stripped of all the international awards she had won in the last two years.
