Tickets for the North American leg of the Harry Styles 2022 tour will serve a greater purpose than entertainment.
Styles partnered with the non-profit organization Everytown for Gun Safety, founded by Academy Award-winning actress Julianne Moore to educate and lobby on the prevention of gun violence. As part of the tour, $ 1 million in tour proceeds will be donated to Live Nation.
Styles “Love on Tour 2022” kicks off in August in North America. The tour has several dates between its stops in New York and Los Angeles.
“I am completely devastated by a series of recent mass shootings in the United States that ended at Robbie Elementary School in Walde, Texas,” Styles wrote in an Instagram post. “During our North American tour, we will partner with Everytown, which works to end gun violence, support donations, support their efforts and share proposed actions.”
