This week I wanted to prepare some very simple and delicious biscuits: cat tongues. Well, I didn’t have time to see the color as my personal leeches, aka my kids, ate it all in 10 minutes, but frankly it looked really good. Will you tell me what you think?
The very simple recipe for cat tongues
To make this recipe you will need:
- 60 g of butter
- 60 g of flour
- 60 g of sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
In a salad bowl, mix the soft butter and icing sugar. Add the flour, vanilla sugar and finally the egg whites.
On a baking tray covered with baking paper, lay out sticks of dough (well spaced). Either you have a piping bag and do it neatly, or you mess around like me and make sticks using a spoon. Physically perhaps it will be less beautiful, but just as good.
Go ahead and put it in the oven at 200°C for 7-8 minutes (as soon as the edges are golden brown).
