Besides being one of the supermodel stars of the 80s still active today, throwing the phone at the housekeeper, or even collaborating with the ultra fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing, Naomi Campbell is also known for being a major germaphobe. Her fear of her germs has in fact given rise to a cult sequence in which she polishes and disinfects her seat on the plane: she herself documented it on her YouTube channel in 2019.

Known for disinfecting everything on the plane, Naomi Campbell signs an antibacterial finish clothing collaboration with Boss
Now Naomi Campbell returns to talk about her on the occasion of her first collection for Boss. Ambassador of the German house, the British model has just signed around forty pieces inspired by her frenetic lifestyle, full of travel. We therefore find elegant, practical and functional clothing items in particularly comfortable materials. Most of these include an antibacterial treatment specially designed with Naomi Campbell’s germaphobia in mind.

In particular we find a gray blazer with double-breasted buttons, a sleeveless jacket in the same style, as well as matching suit trousers, all in cold, wrinkle-free wool. A trench coat made of water-repellent patent leather stands out with its shiny brown appearance. An all-black suit has perfect compression power to avoid blood circulation problems during the flight. Or a leopard print hoodie in shades of purple and matching pants look like the perfect pieces for lounging.

This Naomi x Boss collection will be available on the night between 14 and 15 February 2024, at midnight sharp, depending on the time zone shared by Paris and Berlin on the brand’s eshop. according to the countdown present there, as well as in a selection of physical outlets at the same time.

While an exhibition dedicated to Naomi Campbell will be held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London from 22 June to 6 April 2024, this new collaboration writes the supermodel’s name a little more deeply into fashion history.
