This country was born out of violence, with the local population being massacred at gunpoint. “This country was built on the backs of slaves with guns on their backs… We don’t want to confess our two original sins, where guns are behind our ability to become who we are,” Hayes said.
“I really think Jefferson, Madison, and Washington knew that bullets were invented, about 50 years after our revolution, I don’t know if they wrote it that way. They didn’t even know what lead was.
