The other day, the filming of the film based on Evgeny Vodolazkin’s novel “The Aviator”, directed by Yegor Konchalovsky, took place in St. It started in St. Petersburg.
“The idea of a film adaptation of the novel was floated several times among different directors and producers, but for some reason “Aviator” was not successful. The script of the film was written by the author of the book, Evgeniy Vodolazkin, together with Yuri Arabov, Oleg Sirotkin and Miroslav Stankevich. Viewers will be treated to some plot twists initiated by the author himself. The budget of the film is more than 500 million rubles.
The cast includes Professor Geiger, Konstantin Khabensky, who will play the role of Alexander Gorbatov – Platonov, as well as Evgeny Stychkin and Sofia Ernst. Music is conducted by Maxim Fadeev.
Let us recall that according to the plot of the novel, the main character, Innokenty Platonov, wakes up after almost a century of sleep and tries to revive his memory in order to understand the events that happened to him at the beginning of the 20th century. He learns that he has become part of a scientific experiment – freezing a person. He managed to revive in his memory the extraordinarily beautiful love preserved in his heart.
