To make this recipe you will need:
- 125g unsalted butter
- 250 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 15 g of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
- Strawberry jam

- Remove the unsalted butter from the fridge and let it soften for a few minutes.
- When the butter is soft enough, add the sugar and mix.
- Then add the whole egg and mix.
- Pour 250 g of flour and a teaspoon of yeast into the mixture. Don’t forget the salt.
- At this point, work the dough with your hands to form a uniform and smooth ball. Once ready, wrap it in cling film and let it rest for an hour in the fridge.
- Remove the mixture from the fridge and scoop out similar sized balls of dough (you can weigh them for greater uniformity). Flatten them using the bottom of a glass and form a heart in the center by pressing the tail of the teaspoon on the dough from one side to the other.
- Once the heart is correctly formed, pour the jam into the center.
- Arrange your different biscuits on a baking tray and cook them at 180°C for 10-12 minutes.
- When they are lightly golden, remove them from the oven. Let cool to room temperature and enjoy your meal!
