Before Lerchek had time to return to Instagram*, he was already causing a stir. First he told bloggers about his disappointment, now he decided to share his reason for not paying taxes.
“What can I say, we were stupid, we listened to the wrong people, but we accepted all our mistakes and repented. This will not happen again in the future. And I advise everyone to be very careful about their taxes,” Lerchek wrote on Stories, along with a photo of herself in tears.
Meanwhile, the investigation of another case against him continues, although the court no longer has any claims against Lerchek after paying the taxes. We are talking about the legalization of illegally acquired property. Details are not yet known.
Let us also remind you that in March 2023, a group of security guards came to search the bloggers’ house. Luxurious cars, jewelry, US passports, as well as Russian foreign passports were found on the territory of the mansion. Later, a criminal case was opened against Lerchek and her husband Artem for particularly large-scale tax evasion and money laundering. As a preventive measure, the court banned the family from using the Internet, mail and other forms of communication. After this, the accounts of all blogger companies were arrested. It soon became clear that the Chekalins had paid more than 311 million rubles in tax debts. But in December last year it turned out that Lerchek owed 250 million rubles to the tax authorities.
