The stars of Friends are having a hard time with the death of Matthew Perry. Previously, the Daily Mail reported that the actors of the cult series were in talks with Emmy organizers so that the entire cast could take the stage and share their memories. However, this did not happen.

The show’s executive producers, Jesse Collins and Jeanne Rouzan-Clay, said Matthew Perry’s friends needed more time to cope with their loss.
“We’ve talked about this before. But I can imagine how they feel. They’re still mourning the loss of someone so close to them, they truly were family. I can’t speak for them, but we all have to respect their decision. Maybe it’s a little too soon,” Jesse pointed out. “This wound is still very fresh for them,” Zhanna added.

Let us also remind you that Matthew Perry passed away in late October 2023. He was 54 years old when he died. The actor’s body was found in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles home. After a while, the examination revealed that the Hollywood actor died due to the “acute effects of ketamine”. Learn more about how Matthew Perry spent the last years of his life here.
