The experiment included products such as make-up, hair, oral and dental products, shaving products, cosmetics, deodorant, soap and detergent. The research operator is CRPT (operator of the state labeling system “Honest Mark”). The basis of the pilot labeling project was the gray market, where products with unsafe compounds and increased toxicity were sold. According to the Higher School of Economics, the share of illegal trade in cosmetics and household chemicals reaches 16%.
