Kyung Lah has been named senior investigative correspondent at CNN, joining the network’s investigative team.
Lah served as senior national correspondent for the 2024 presidential campaign.
The network also named Ryan Young senior national correspondent in the network’s Atlanta bureau. He will cover law enforcement and other news stories across the country.
In her previous role, Lah reported extensively on disinformation surrounding the 2020 presidential election as well as state-level efforts to certify the results. She covered the 2020 presidential election and the impact of the Covid pandemic on American families. She was previously the network’s Tokyo correspondent and served as national correspondent for CNN Newssource in Washington, D.C. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
Among other things, Young reported on the expulsion of the two Democratic members of the Tennessee House of Representatives after they called for gun control after a mass shooting in the state. He also reported from Mississippi on a series of police reforms after deputies and an officer pleaded guilty to torturing two black men. He joined the network in 2015 and most recently served as CNN’s national correspondent.
