Scott Wilder has been promoted to executive vice president of production and operations for Fox News Media.
Wilder will oversee technical, field and production operations for special events and breaking news coverage, the network said. This also includes this year’s presidential elections.
Wilder joined the channel when it debuted in 1996 and has produced breaking news and events ever since. As senior vice president of field production and operations, he oversaw the first two Republican primaries of this cycle as well as Sean Hannity’s. The great debate between red states and blue states: Newsom vs. DeSantis in Alpharetta, Georgia. He also oversaw several town halls and election night programs for the 2022 midterm elections.
Other productions include presidential visits, Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and President Joe Biden’s inauguration. He also helped design the look of the Patriot Awards, Fox Nation’s event. During the Covid pandemic, he helped plan more than 40 of the network’s remote studios and also oversaw special events and news productions.
Wilder previously served as vice president of field operations and director of field and air operations from 2017 to 2019. From 2007 to 2017 he was ENG field operations manager and before that field photographer and coordinator of ENG operations.
