A YouTube DJ is feared dead after jumping off a cruise ship into the sea following an argument with his girlfriend on a supposed dream trip.
Carlos Alberto Mota Candreva, 32, posted videos on his social media pages of the ship traveling from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro along Brazil’s South Atlantic coast.
A clip shows the luxury cabin that Carlos, who works as a programmer for a bank, booked for the two-day New Year’s trip with Barbara Momenso, head of the Vitoria modeling agency, 27.
Carlos says to his followers: “Here in the port of Santos we are still waiting for our departure.”
“Let’s see what happens, there’s a party tonight.” My bag has not yet reached the cabin door. We enjoy it here.”

A second clip shows the MSC Preziosa at sea at sunset, shot from the boat’s luxury restaurant, posted with the caption: “I Love Sunsets.”
But just hours later, Carlos is said to have plunged more than 200ft into the sea after a furious argument with Vitoria over their two-year romance.
According to local media reports, Carlos wanted an exclusive and official relationship with Vitoria, who wanted to remain informal.
Crew members of the New Year’s Eve at Sea cruise raised the alarm after Carlos disappeared in the early hours of December 30.
Vitoria told local media: “He thought he couldn’t see me with someone else, that he wouldn’t be able to handle it.”
She revealed that Carlos stormed off and came back and told her she was cheating on him before jumping into the sea.

Cruise operator MSC Cruzeiros confirmed that a passenger had been reported missing while the ship was en route to Angra dos Reis, a paradise island en route to Rio.
In a statement to local media, it said: “A thorough search was carried out on board and it was determined that the guest had deliberately jumped overboard.”
“The incident was immediately reported to the relevant authorities and the coast guard cleared the vessel to continue its voyage.”
The Brazilian Navy resumed the search for Carlos.
