On May 26, in Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, the super-final of the fourth season of the Leaders of Russia competition for managers from the Russia – Land of Opportunities project began. The meeting was opened by Sergei Kiriyenko, Sergei Sobyanin and Alexei Komissarov.
300 super-finalists from 56 regions of Russia and 6 foreign countries participated in the competition: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Estonia, France and the United Arab Emirates.
All participants of the super-final are winners of seven competitions: 126 participants – “Business and Industry” track, 87 participants – “Public Administration” track, 37 competitors – “Information Technologies” track, 18 participants – “Science” “, 14 superfinalists – “Culture” , 11 participants – “Health” and 7 contestants – “International” track.
Participants under the age of 35 are 51%. The youngest superfinalist is 23 years old, and the oldest is 56 at the time of the competition. This year, there are 51 girls among the 300 super finalists, which is 17% of the total number of super finalists: this is slightly less than last season (19%), but more than the first (16%) and the second (13%). The “culture” part became the most “female”: among the super-finalists representing this direction, girls make up 36%.
The mentors of the winners of the competition are well-known statesmen, heads of large companies and enterprises. 300 finalists receive 1 million rubles each for their chosen program of study at any Russian university. Participants in a special program for the development of the personnel management reserve of the RANEPA School of Public Administration are selected from among the winners. Each contestant who passed the test received advice from top HR experts on improving their managerial competencies. The finalists of the “International” track of the competition have the right to apply for a residence permit in Russia, and the winners – for citizenship, under a simplified procedure.
Winners will be announced on May 29.
