Patton Oswalt is preparing the second part of the comic “Minor Threats” for Dark Horse

EXCLUSIVE: Patton Oswalt is writing a second part of him Minor threats Comic for Dark Horse.

With Jordan Blum and Scott Hepburn, the popular superhero saga Minor Threats: The Fastest Way Down Vol. 2 will be published in April 2024.

The comic’s logline reads: “Frankie Follis, aka costumed criminal Playtime, has won. Twilight City’s greatest hero, The Insomniac, and its greatest villain, The Stickman, are dead, allowing Frankie to unite the super-criminal underworld and assert himself as the Queenpin of Redport. But Frankie feels the pressure from all sides. Rival gangs challenge her authority, Scalpel, her consigliere, forces her to legitimize her empire, and The Insomniac’s murder has shattered something deep inside her. Frankie will have to learn the hard way… heavy is the head that wears the supervillain crown.”

The Sin cityAfter the first part, a graphic novel will be published Agents of SHIELD The star and stand-up comedian Oswalt has been praised by Judd Apatow and Edgar Wright, among others.

Dark Horse Comics was founded nearly 30 years ago and has published works by the likes of Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood and Chuck Palahniuk. Last year it was acquired by Sweden’s Embracer Group, which subsequently bought it lord of the rings IP owner Middle-earth Enterprises for $400 million.
