Matthew Perry’s death in October this year shocked not only fans of his work, but also his friends and colleagues who remember him to this day. In his latest interview with Deadline, George Clooney said that Matthew was not happy on the set of the legendary series Friends.

“He wasn’t happy. “This brought him no joy, no happiness, no peace,” said George.
“I’ve known Matt since I was 16. We played padel tennis together. He is about 10 years younger than me. And he was a wonderful, funny kid. And all he said to us, me, Richard Kind and Grant Heslov, was: “I just want to be in a sitcom, man. “I just want to get into an ordinary sitcom and be the happiest person in the world,” the actor shared.

According to Clooney, success, fame and taking part in a dream TV series did not bring him happiness. “It was hard to watch the show because we didn’t know what was really going on with him. We just knew he wasn’t happy,” the actor’s friend said bluntly.
