“I’m not 26, I’m 46,” a Spanish presenter makes a strong gesture live on air

Sonia Ferrer, Spanish television actress and presenter, was inspired by Pamela Anderson by eliminating all her makeup live.

His initiative is of great impact. During his Spanish show “In a box of things to do », Sonia Ferrer, actress and presenter, decided to take a make-up remover wipe and remove everything she had on her skin, in front of the camera. The reason for this gesture? Show your support for Pamela Anderson as she once again appeared makeup-free during the British Fashion Awards on Monday, December 4.

“I’m not 26, I’m 46”

Sonia Ferrer explains her gesture during the show:

We look very different without makeup. […] We are evolving a lot. It’s a reality, we are changing and I’m not 26, I’m 46. Time passes for everyone. […] With this gesture I would only like to claim naturalness and self-acceptance so that we can feel at ease without artifice. […] Nothing makes me ashamed anymore. I love myself so much more now than I did 20 years ago. Because over the years you realize that you were wrong about a lot of things.

The presenter also adds that he deplores the use of “social network filters” and some “cosmetic surgery, even minor”.

This scares me a lot. Let makeup, fashion or beauty be an accessory and a game, without becoming its victim. With this gesture I would only like to claim naturalness and self-acceptance so that we can feel at ease without artifice.

Makeup, no makeup, it doesn’t really matter: the important thing is that everyone does what they want, how they want.
