From the ” test » automatic to combat discrimination? On Wednesday 6 December, the National Assembly adopted a text to combat sexist, racial and even geographical discrimination, particularly in hiring.

Against discrimination in access to work, housing or even bank loans

Therefore, this text intends to make the “statistical tests” AND “individual », so-called testing, with companies and public administrations. A practice that consists of writing CVs or files by modifying some elements, such as surname, age, the city, or even the type. Thus, thanks to these CVs and files, the test allows you to verify whether a company discriminates against people due to their origin.

As part of this new law, these tests will be prepared by the inter-ministerial delegation for the fight against racism, anti-Semitism and anti-LGBT hatred (Dilcrah), which will help anyone who feels discriminated against in accessing work, but also in accessing housing or even bank loans.

Furthermore, this law aims to create an anti-discrimination servicedirectly integrated into Dilcrah, under the supervision of the Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne.
