According to the invitation, Lenny Kravitz will perform Friday when President Joe Biden performs his first re-election fundraiser in Los Angeles.
The event will be hosted by designer Michael Smith and James Costos, the former US ambassador to Spain. Co-hosts include Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, Martha Karsh and Wendy Schmidt. First Lady Jill Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will also appear.
It will be the president’s first trip to Los Angeles for a fundraiser since he announced his re-election bid in April. He left Los Angeles during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike because he was afraid of raising money at the time of the work stoppage.

Tickets for the event sold out from the $1,000 level, but now start at $3,300 and go up to $500,000 for the “Chair” level. Access to a photo line begins with those who donate $25,000 or more according to the invite.
Biden arrives in Los Angeles on Friday and has another fundraiser planned for Saturday. He is scheduled to leave on Sunday.
Kravitz will be the latest musician to perform at a Biden event. James Taylor was the featured entertainer at a Biden fundraiser in Boston on Tuesday night.
