The clumsy police officers are the focus of the comedy by Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement Wellington paranormal will host a podcast about the series.
Mike Minogue, who plays Officer Minogue on the New Zealand show, and Karen O’Leary (Officer O’Leary) will host and delve into the making of the series, which is produced by Jermaine Clement and executive produced by Taika Waititi. Spin-off from What we do in the shadows.
Other stars such as Maaka Pohatu (Sarge) and Tom Sainsbury (Officer Parker) will be returning guests on the podcast, which launches Thursday NZ time or late night PT. Actors, writers and directors will also be present.
A new episode appears every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other platform applications.
Originally for TVNZ, the series ran for four seasons and aired in North America on The CW and HBO Max, in the UK and Ireland on Sky and in Australia on SBS. The show went on hiatus after its fourth season in 2022 and was picked up as a spin-off by FX’s What we do in the shadowswhich itself was a spin-off from Clement and Waititi.
The rockumentary format is about two disinterested agents who keep an eye on a world full of vampires, werewolves and zombies.

Minogue’s new New Zealand podcast network Frank Podcasts is producing the show. He runs it with Tim Batt.
