“I expect everything to go back to the way it was,” Dafoe told Deadline when asked how he thinks the ongoing strike could affect the future of the industry. He added that he did not know all the details of the negotiations.

“I’m a worker bee. I work a lot. And I’ve been doing it for a long time. But sometimes I don’t feel like an insider. I know it’s kind of ridiculous because I’ve been working for so long, but I don’t know,” he said.

Based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. Poor stuff Starring Emma Stone is Bella Baxter, a creation of the brilliant and unorthodox scientist played by Dafoe in a nod to Mary Shelley’s classic horror novel Frankenstein. Just like in Venice, the performances here in Torun win many awards Poor stuffespecially from Stone and Dafoe, of whom the four-time Oscar nominee said he was always “aware”.

And then all those things may or may not be part of it. Sometimes it’s the really good films that don’t reach this wave. And you understand why. This is the combination of what will be released this year. And then there are other times when a film catches that wave and you really wonder why it’s happening.

Following Poor stuffDafoe starred in two other titles in which the Lido takes center stage: It finally dawnswith Lily James and Pet Shop Days, the small debut of Olmo Schnabel, the son of the artist and filmmaker Julian Schnabel. “It’s a good time. “I realize there are things to do,” he said. “There are times when there are fewer opportunities, when you have less desire or when the right projects don’t come to mind. Or you feel trapped. But it is not now. That’s why I’m looking forward to going back to work.”
