The ingredients to make the recipe
- 4 red peppers
- 150g firm tofu
- 150g of Thai rice
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- Salt + pepper

The recipe for peppers stuffed with tofu
Step no. 1: Cook the rice as usual.
Step no. 2: Cut the onion into small pieces and brown it in a pan with a drizzle of oil. Once they become transparent, pour in the finely chopped garlic and tofu. Brown them and add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of agave syrup. Once the mixture has caramelized, add the previously cooled cooked rice. Salt and pepper.
Step no. 3: Preheat the oven to 170°C. Rinse the peppers, cut off the top and remove the core. Fill them with the filling. Place them in a baking dish.
Step no. 3: Drizzle the peppers with olive oil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step no. 4: In the meantime, remember to water your peppers regularly and if they are too dry you can add a little water. Continue cooking for another 10 or 15 minutes.
