The Sandbox is creating a cinema-focused network with Lionsgate and Skydance

EXCLUSIVE: Virtual gaming world The Sandbox has partnered with studios and industry labels such as Lionsgate and Skydance on the Cinerama LAND Sale, a virtual cinema-focused network.

The Cinerama LAND sale, which begins today, offers participants the opportunity to create their own immersive universes inspired by the film.

Cinerama will include participants from partner companies such as Lionsgate, Skydance and Stormtroopers, as well as creatives from Hell’s Kitchen, The living dead, Black mirror, Peaky BlindersMK2, Cheech and Chong and Clay Nation.

As part of the Cinerama LAND Sale, The Sandbox has introduced a new waiting list system, giving community members more opportunities to secure the purchase of their desired LANDS. After the drawing, users on the waiting list have the opportunity to purchase the remaining properties for one day on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, for the first time, auctions will be available on both OpenSea and GBM, providing more opportunities to participate and buy LAND.

The auction runs according to the following schedule:

Lottery Registration: November 9, 15:00 (UTC) – November 21, 3:00 am. (UTC)

Lottery results: November 23, 11:00 (UTC)

LAND SALE: November 23, 12:00 (UTC) – November 27, 12:00 (UTC)

Wait List Sale: November 27, 13:00 (UTC) – November 28, 13:00 (UTC)

Auctions: November 23–27 (UTC)
