EXCLUSIVE: Here’s your first look at the horror thriller Awaken the Reaperwith Lance Henriksen (Strangers), Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. (A policeman and a gentleman) and Robin Curtis (Star Trek).
The film follows a troubled hiker who returns home to begin therapy when he has visions of a hooded skeletal figure wielding a scythe. The official summary is: A woman has disappeared. The agoraphobic Keith Lamont is their last hope. But to find her, he must face his deepest fears.
Directed by Dave Campfield and Justin Paul. They also produced with Fourth Horizon Cinema, Impact Media Productions and Design Weapons Studios. The script also comes from Campfield.
Strangers Ster Henriksen is perhaps best known for his role alongside Viggo Mortensen in his directorial debut Fall in 2020. Gossett Jr. played Will Reeves in the TV series Guardian and is in post-production on Warner Bros. ‘s upcoming musical adaptation The color purple.
