In April this year, Russian film company Nashe Kino talked about working on a feature film about the meme hero Zhdun. The character itself will be portrayed, and the rest of the roles will be performed by the actors. According to the plot, Zhdun is an alien brought to our planet. He meets a boy who comes to his grandparents on holiday in Abrau-Durso. He will need to help the boy return to Zhdun’s planet, and he, in turn, will help the boy and his family solve all the accumulated problems. Filming took place in Moscow and Abrau-Durso in September, and is scheduled for release in January 2025. By the way, today Kinopoisk released a poster for the upcoming movie.
