Just the news of the day! Daniel Radcliffe is producing a film about his former stunt double, who was left paralyzed after suffering a spinal cord injury. Variety reports this.

David Holmes, who worked as Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double for ten years, was seriously injured on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in 2009. The fact is that in one of the scenes the man had to move away from the explosion using cables. But unfortunately he unsuccessfully flew into the wall, hit his back and fell to the mats. According to the publication, the film will include images from David Holmes’ personal archive, behind-the-scenes footage of the “Harry Potter” movie and much more. The documentary will be called “David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived.” The premiere will take place on November 15.

Let’s remember that Daniel Radcliffe started acting in Potter at the age of 12 and finished at 22 (he is now 34). The constant attention of fans and journalists became the reason for his problems with alcohol. But now that’s all in the past: he recently became a father!
