School harassment: what does the questionnaire contain for all CE2 students

At the start of the All Saints holidays, all students from CE2 onwards will need to complete this questionnaire. Two hours of school time will be allocated for this purpose, between 9 and 15 November.

Following the increase in tragedies related to bullying in schools, the government announced a series of measures to combat it at the end of September. Among these, a questionnaire that all students from CE2 onwards will have to complete anonymously, the Ministry of National Education announced on Tuesday 24 October.

Therefore, at the beginning of the All Saints holidays, schoolchildren, middle and high school students will have to fill out this questionnaire, which is “a non-nominative self-assessment grid aimed at assessing whether they risk being victims of school harassment”we read in a press release from the ministry.

A questionnaire divided by themes

To do this, two hours of school time it will be made ordinary between Thursday 9 November – the date of anti-harassment day – and Wednesday 15 November. This time, “whose practical organization is the initiative of each school, middle and high school, will be an opportunity to focus on the prevention and identification of harassment situations”the ministry said in a press release.

Three questionnaires, developed with experts, were then sent to the school heads to be adapted to each level (from CE2 to CM2, middle school and high school).

For schoolchildren, the questionnaire includes 33 questionsdivided into four groups, reports theFrench media agency : “Before going to school”, ” At school “, “On the Internet or on screens” AND “How do you feel?”. For the colleague and the school the questionnaire includes 44 questions with similar themes.

Questions for middle school students ask, for example, whether they have “fear of going to university because of one or more students”, “He lied to stay home [eux] », “was pushed aside in the courtyard by one or more students”if they eat, “alone in the canteen”or even if students “spread rumors about [eux] ».

They are also asked if they have received “offensive or threatening messages” on social networks, if “photos or messages are circulating” on them without their consent. More questions like if they did “difficult to do [leurs] Homeworks “has ” falling asleep “ or have “stomach ache or headache” because of what they experience in college.
