Whether you’re a fan of skincare or not, you have to admit that skin does very different needs as we enter autumn. But what exactly needs to change?
Go easy on the exfoliation
Exfoliation is good. It’s also very good to allow correct cell regeneration. But from autumn onwards, the skin begins to be in regular contact with cooler temperatures and (necessarily) becomes fragile. To avoid making the skin barrier less resistant, we recommend limit exfoliation to once a week in order to remove impurities located at the level of the external pores create microcracks on the hydrolipidic film. And obviously always with a chemical exfoliant (which works by peeling off) unlike manual scrubs.

Adopt a serum that maintains the impermeability of the hydrolipidic barrier
The hydrolipid barrier is what makes the skin less accessible to daily attacks. It must therefore be perfectly maintained, even if we cannot see it. Unfortunately, many people don’t really know how to do this. Actually, it’s quite simple. A serum rich in active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, ceramides or fatty acids is the ideal remedy.. To be applied morning and evening before moisturizing cream, it satisfies the needs of the skin barrier without making the skin more greasy. And it changes lives.
Focus on a richer moisturizer
In summer we tend to choose a lighter moisturizer because our skin is exposed to higher temperatures. But when autumn arrives, the cold makes her more fragile and she, once again, they need to be supported by a richer formula. This gesture will not only serve to provide the right active ingredients to the skin. It will also allow to consolidate the skin barrier and give him what he needs stay strong in the face of wind, cold, temperature changes and even pollution.

And one thing is certain: he is absolutely right.
Investing in an air humidifier (if possible)
Whoever says that temperatures are decreasing necessarily says so restart the heating. The problem is that the latter tends to make the air dry and the skin dehydrated… So, if you can, consider investing in an air humidifier. Of course, this is not an essential necessity but it will allow you to do so keep the skin adequately hydrated and to avoid sore throats, headaches and even thirst due to the too dry air in your apartment…
So think about it!
