Hello to all fashion lovers! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online journal where I would note the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you will be aware of the most interesting things.
This Monday, Milan Fashion Week has ended and the entire fashion community has moved to Paris. For five days we closely followed everything that was happening on the catwalks and in the front rows, we managed to discuss the images of Kylie Jenner and Kim Cattrall, good for Peter Do (who attended Paris Fashion Week for the first time). ) and I feel sad about another unsuccessful collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri. But the funniest moment of the week was Gabriella Hearst’s dance in the finale of the show Chloe. In the meantime, he is leaving his position as creative director of the brand. Hence all the jokes on the internet about how you should leave work. Another highlight of the week was the release of Vogue’s digital cover featuring Angelina Jolie. Here he talked about his new project Atelier Jolie and showed pieces from the first collection.
There were really many interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the world of fashion and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Campaigns for fashion brands are a separate art. It’s nice to know that creative teams spare no effort, time or money to bring the wildest ideas to life. Recently, Cashmere and Silk brand pleased us with a beautiful shoot. To show off the new collection, the team went to the Stakheev mansion, created by the famous architect Mikhail Fedorovich Bugrovsky. And for good reason: the venue’s eclectic combination of architectural styles reflects true traditions and world heritage values. The connection between times and cultures becomes the central theme of the new “Cashmere and Silk” campaign. The result is a harmonious style created from the best materials: luxurious fur and leather, velvety fabrics and cozy cashmere. Accent colors work with neutrals to create a strong unity that reflects personality, inspired by natural earth tones.

Even though September is very hot, preparations for the cold months should not be cancelled. Looks like we know what items will make October truly cozy. The Daisyknit autumn collection is based on a palette of golden-orange tones of leaves and deep tones of autumn twilight. While wool suits and sweaters represent the warmth and comfort of autumn evenings, skirts and dresses highlight femininity.
Inspired by the beauty of autumn nature, Daisyknit did not ignore its own land. The north of the Tomsk region is famous for fishing. So a fish appeared in the collection, which took its place in the ironic print of the shirt, the cheerful pattern on the sweater, and the universal decoration – a silver necklace. Meanwhile, the brand developed the jewelry together with Siberian jewelry brand Sbleskom.

Meet the newcomer to the fashion arena. And yes, it definitely deserves your attention. Meraque laboratory brand creates sexy products with delicate national motifs. Sarina Sahakyan, the creative director of the brand, was born at the highest point of the Armenian mountains, on the border with Iran. “It is a cold place where all the colors are bright and the national culture is very strong, all of which is reflected in our first collection. One of its main colors is brick red. This is the Armenian color, our entire national costume is in its shades,” says she.
Working with national culture in the Meraque laboratory does not become folklore. There are no direct references to national patterns, beads or traditional costumes. Instead, it’s a fine work with references. The curtains of the suit and dress resemble the folds of the mountains. The tassels and braids appearing on the dresses were purchased from a store in Armenia. Knitting patterns on knitwear are traditional Armenian knitting. There is a lot of textured work in the collection: there is knitwear, leather, the textured fabric of the aubergine dress, embroideries, heavy skirt folds and viscose reminiscent of the surface of wood. The team emphasized all of this in the set design, adding lots of fabrics with textures that resonated with the clothes.

But Russian brands ívolga and Di Storie have combined their love for simple cuts and casual style to create the perfect basic yet modern wardrobe for adults and children. The collaboration between ívolga and Di Storie is the merger of two similar local brands united by the desire to create high-quality clothing that remains relevant for a long time. The collection includes eco suede suits, checkered shirts and collared sweaters. Voluminous sweaters can be combined with eco-leather trousers, and elegant chiffon blouses can be combined with corduroy jeans, which are also part of the collaboration.
