I don’t know about you, but as much as I love autumn, I always feel a pang in my heart when the beautiful season of tomatoes, cucumbers, peaches and other melons is replaced by that of pumpkin, leeks and carrots. . Because while I love creamy, comforting soups, nothing beats browning quiche in the oven on a Sunday evening while we enjoy the last rays of sunshine of the day.
Here’s a version that still smells of summer, with cherry tomatoes, goat’s cheese and basil.

Ingredients for cherry tomato and goat cheese quiche
- A puff pastry
- 250 g of cherry tomatoes
- 3 eggs
- 150 g log of goat’s cheese
- 30 cl of liquid cream
- A few chopped fresh basil leaves (quantity to your taste)
- Salt and pepper
The recipe for quiche with cherry tomatoes and goat cheese
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
- Roll out the puff pastry in a tart pan lined with baking paper. Prick the bottom with a fork, then set aside.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and sprinkle them on the puff pastry.
- Cut the log of goat’s cheese into cubes and add them to the base of the tart, on top of the cherry tomatoes.
- In a salad bowl, beat the eggs to form an omelette and gradually add the liquid cream. Add salt and pepper. Add the chopped basil.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the tart and bake the tart for 30-40 minutes, or until the surface is golden.
You can enjoy this quiche hot or warm, accompanied by a green salad (or soup, if you really feel like it). Enjoy your meal !
